Search Threads

The Search feature is only going back 7 months. (Not new information).

You can see someone's threads by clicking on their profile. Scroll down. At the bottom, you can click the "Search More Threads" button. The Your Threads shows at least 2 years of information.


To search Post - Select the magnifying glass to the left middle.

Enter 4 or more characters to search. Click on the blue letters "Show/Hide Advanced Search Options" to search in Title and Post.

At the top of a thread or post:
You can select to receive emails by clicking the box next to email - a green check mark will appear.
You can select to have a thread be listed as part of Your Threads (YT) by clicking the box next to YT - a green check mark will appear.

You can uncheck the email box anytime. You can not uncheck the YT box if you have posted a comment to the thread.

Thanks! I was only getting search results for titles, I was wondering about how to get post content.

Good information. It would be nice for people of all ages if this was stickied and used as a general information hub or a "how to" use the forum. Given this is an older message board - it could prove useful for anybody.

Personally I don’t think this is an appropriate board for all ages. After dealing with this for 30+ years there are many things discussed here that we share very candidly because we don’t have to be concerned about “Younger” ears reading some of the very adult things we discuss here. Sharing this with a younger audience would more likely end up raising more questions/ confusion or having to increase the level of censorship that would be necessary to accommodate an underage audience. The ability to have open, honest adult discourse without judgement is exactly what makes this group unique.
If there are a lack of resources for the underage kids that suffer from these issues, then I think that’s a great opportunity for a “NEW” & different board that might be more educational in nature. I simply would not feel comfortable with a ten year old reading one of my rants after a rough day!
