Recommending Medline Fitright

I was hospitalized recently and was in need of incontinence underwear. The hospital had a supply of Medline Fitright pullups. So that is what I wore. Honestly they look like they would not work at all, but they really do fit perfectly and work very well for both urinary and fecal and they are way more comfortable than anything else I've ever tried. Again I'm amazed because they don't look like they could work. When I went back to the others I already have - Dignity and Tye they felt so heavy and hot inside. So I just thought I'd mention them for anyone looking for an alternate pull-up. I had the advantage of trying them in the hospital. I don't know if anyone offers samples. Maybe I'm lucky that they fit me but at least for me I finally found something that feels good too.

I've said it before, but the Abena Pull Ups are really good. Will hold a full bladder. Those are the ones I wear exclusively. The Northshore pull ups are too thick and the padding always breaks down and shifts around after extended wear. The others like Reassure and Depend seem more cheaply made and do not feel or work as good as others.Tranquility is good but the leg gathers are too tight. Even if you get your correct size.

I wear pads and wonder how pull-ups work. If you wear slacks-isn't it a hastle to change? Do you wear the same pull-up after a minor leak or have to change everytime? It seems pretty expensive.

Hi pilgrammy. All of these aids can be expensive. But my favorite brand for a while was discontinued because the manufacturer was not making enough money on them.

I have found that you can place a booster pad inside the pull-up and when that's full replace that rather than the pullups. It's fairly easy to do that change. I also take several layers of toilet paper and soak up excess liquid in the pull-up before putting the new pad in. This will minimize cost because you continue to use the same pullup.

I have fecal issues too and have found a few brands that are good. Of course most of the time a complete change will be necessary. I like the Fitrights mentioned above the most because they do what's needed for both problems and are very comfortable.

Please feel free to ask if you have any more questions.

Hi Pilgrammy, for a number of us we were a pull up or tape on diaper mostly because our incontinence is quite heavy and usually don’t change for a few hours or until it is near capacity. I don’t know how much you leak but I’ve found for me pads dont work as they just dont hold enough and pull-ups move around too much causing leaks. It’s been many many years since I’ve bought pads but maybe there better now than before but it would seem without a full coverage in that area if you leak heavily it would spill over quickly. It does get very costly for all of our supplies and I’m sure you e found you have to budget for yours as well. It’s really a shame that these companies can’t reduce the prices for us and maybe tell the share holders people are more important than money!!

To mhart82,
I am in the process of trying new brands. Which Abena Pull Ups do you use? There are so many choices. Also, what is the link to the store you buy them from? Thanks very much for your help.

I tried their briefs with tabs they were the clothlike covered which I can't stand and I did not like the way they fit they did not seem to be that well made
