Northshore Trifecta Pants

Hey guys,

So I’m pretty happy with the Airlock Lites I recently ordered from Northshore. Switching over from Tranqulity - they are just as absorbent and do not leak through the night.

Anyway, the one issue I have with them is that the odor control isn’t the greatest - I wake up smelling of urine - and during the day if I have urge incontinence episodes while I’m in the living room, I can smell myself as well.

My briefs came with an ad for waterproof pants - but I don’t know if there is shame in wearing something like that - or I should buy a couple pairs and stick with the cloth briefs.

Wearing protection the past few years have been a huge issue for me - and I’m just started getting comfortable with it - I just don’t know with these waterproof pants if they will work to control the odor. Also, do a lot of people with my problem wear them? I don’t want to feel alone,

Thanks,
Honeeecombs

I have several pair of the PUL material pants. I wear them when I want that extra protection and they quiet down plastic rustling noise a lot.
I prefer the Garywear PUL pant over the northshore trifecta personally.
I usually use Incontrol brand diapers and they have a “silence pant” that is reasonably priced and works ok too.
I fine the silent pant best for quieting down the diaper, they can keep in a small leak as well. The garywear have bigger and more snug elastic so work a bit better on leaks but I can feel them more.
Northshore my waist size was saggy in the back so I diddnt like the fit. The material is also kinda reversed. Most have the PUL material on inside and cloth feel on outside. Northshore is opposite so I diddnt love them.
And their like $35 or more each.

Clothlike-covered diapers especially breathable clothlike-covered diapers do not have the same odor protection as plastic-backed diapers
