Next step Bladder instillations or B&O suppositories or both

My urologist has suggested B&O suppositories for bladder pain. I don't think I want them, as its a narcotic, but also bladder instillations. Hopefully some of you have tried these. Here both have already been ordered so all I need to do is show up! I have done pelvic therapy didn't get any results but didn't have a good therapist either. Thoughts for pain? Ideas?

Totally different thing, but I took Tramadol, a narcotic, for years and stopped with no ill effects when my back pain improved. I only took it as directed and everyone is different, but if your pain is severe narcotics can help.
