Hello everyone,
I’m so happy to have found this group. Have been suffering with frequent urination since 2007. Been to several urologists, specialists and surgeons but there is not formal diagnosis for me. Just that I am not emptying my bladder fully.
I developed chronic illness in 2012. Since then, my urination is so frequent, like every 5-10 minutes on some days. My teeth are starting to decay and I must get to a dentist but the peeing is so bad, I can’t leave my front door without having to turn back to pee.
I can’t pee in diapers unless standing because I have a uterine fibroid that gets in the way. So I would have to stand up to pee if I wear a diaper in the dentists office which would be very embarrassing.
And I fill them up so fast because I go so frequently.
Would anyone have any tips for me? I would be open to any and all ideas at this point. I have grown rather desperate unfortunately.
Thank you so much.

Welcome. I’m sorry to hear that. I have the same issue. It was determined to be interstitial cystitis and overactive bladder. I ended up with a Foley catheter and have been a cath user since 2014. I also use diapers. Going 20-30 times a day and leaking in between trips to the bathroom is no fun at all.

@PBJ32 Thank you 🙏I really appreciate your reply and I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s a tough journey. How has your experience with the catheter been?

Catheter for times like dentist office. You can use both an indwelling and a diaper if you don't want to deal with the leg bags. And better diapers, they are thicker and will need to wear looser clothing but if just wearing to go to dentists office or such shouldn't bee too much of an issue I would think. Main thing is finding something that works for you.

@Draconic Thank you for the great ideas and encouragement!! I’m feeling more hopeful about this. Many thanks 🙏
