I have been fully incontinent for years now. This was from a pretty bad car accident and after that I have to be in a diaper all the time. I'm in my 40's now and I've always had issues with bed wetting growing up. I've read a few forums here so far and it seems like a nice place to share and learn. I really don't have anyone I can really talk to because I don't want to admit to others I wear diapers. I have become pretty ok with it personally, but it's still a challenge to deal with in life sometimes. Mostly when accidents happen away from home. I always have to wet in the diaper, but still have bowel accidents frequently and that's been a really difficult thing for me to accept, especially when not home to deal with it quickly and feeling shame. I get so paranoid when I have to use a public restroom to change. I'm glad to have this space to learn more and I don't feel totally alone having to wear diapers.

Hey, glad you found the forum. I also started having problems because of a car accident. I never had problems before or with bedwetting, but I sustained a head injury in the crash- I hit a transport truck- (guess who won that round...) but I have had so many other problems from that incident that the incontinence never seemed like the worst part of the whole mess. I am used to it, but never got anywhere near being able to say that it doesn't matter at all. I will say this: there are worse things, and I was saved from those, so I try not to complain about this too much. I hope you are able to find the support you need here.
