Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate those holidays! To those of you who are in the 240 of 350 million Americans threatened with severe weather caused by the bomb cyclone storm-of-a-century, my thoughts are for your safety. Also, if you’re like me and all alone tomorrow, know that you know at least one other person who is also alone. This is my first year being alone and not celebrating with my abusive parents. I chose to give myself a good mental health day away from them, instead. I’m not at all looking forward to being alone tomorrow, but it’s way better than being screamed at by two people which they’ve already done three times in the past 10 days alone, blaming and shaming me for things they’re jealous of. They love me because they’re supposed to, but they don’t even like me, so could there be love? Anyway, onward with being alone. Sometimes it’s necessary to stay safe. My cat, who I got at Christmas nine years ago (best present of my entire life!!!), will be here with me to help me middle through. To those if you with your families, I hope they are kind toward you and generous of spirit.
“May your days be merry and bright!”
