Leg bags and tubing

I think I've solved this problem, but I'm throwing it out anyway to see if anyone else has had similar experiences. In the time I've been using condom catheters and leg bags, I've really had only two bags and two lengths of tubing, and yes, I wash them out regularly.

For the last 3 days the tube has started coming off the fitting on bag fairly early in the day, resulting in that area of my pants leg getting soaked. (Fortunately I wear Levis, work at home, and have laundry facilities in my building.)

Could it be that the end of the tube has gotten stretched, distorted, whatever, from being attached to and detached from the hard plastic fitting on the bag so many times? The tubing has been staying attached to the condom just fine, but in that case the tube fitting is hard plastic, and I use a new condom every day.

As it happens, I just received an order of condoms and supples including one of the #5171 bags on this page:

Turns out that the tube is permanently attached to the bag, which should solve the problem. The tube is also smaller in diameter than the ones I've been using. That's good in my book--less bulky under my pants. They give you a hard plastic fitting to attach the tube to the condom. This could well be the bag for me going forward.

It's possible you could have a crack or slit in the tubing from attaching and detaching from the bag.
