Tomorrow is my appointment and procedure for my week long test for the interstim device. Wish me luck.

(Not nervous at all) *sarcasm*.

So freaking nervous, this is like my last resort to get my bladder control problems under control.

Keeping faith and playing to God this works. Ill let you guys know how it goes.

Hi HC, Here are best wishes the appointment and procedure go well for you and that the entire thing is uneventful and is a "textbook case."
Just think of getting to the other side of this and think of something you're really looking forward to. A goal like that will help you get through it and then you'll find yourself looking back on it but also having met your goal.
Definitely a lot of good luck wishes and just go there with your head held high!!!! This, too, shall pass!!!

@Honeeecombs,
Wishing you the best. I can understand your anxiety, but try to mentally relax and be calm.

Will be looking forward to hearing how the procedure went.

@Honeeecombs i hope that it goes well. I am finally having my first stage interstim at the end of july after 18 months of waiting. I think that it wil take a year or more for our hospitals to catch up after covid. Let us know how it goes, cheers, phil

I got it, I'm home now. It was so easy! And painless, the medtronic specialist activated it and showed me how to use the device.

It was painless, I was out for most of it - and the probe point is just a little tender but that is really it guys and gals.

I'm really hoping to see improvements in my bladder control, and I've got a bladder diary to record how frequent I go, etc.

The worst part was pretty much just waiting for an hour pre op. But I had my phone with me, so it wasn't really that big of a deal.

Fingers crossed this week goes well. 🙏

That's what it looks like

You know, HC, with any kind of a procedure like that, the worst part is that hour or so they make you spend pre-op. Because at that time that's all you think about. It's like you're committed at that point and there is no escape!!! But I'm glad you didn't find it to uncomfortable and that you went through it all in one piece!! And being able to look back on it and say "it's done" is a good feeling! So good going!! And we'll hope it does everything it is supposed to do and that it begins to make a positive difference for you really soon!!!

@Honeeecombs

May God bless you and provide comfort and healing according to His will and your faith in Him.

All things are possible for those who fear the Lord. Just remember that God has a plan for you.

Amen!

Chuck
