12 years ago I had RP surgery quickly followed by 45 radiation sessions followed by 30 months of ADT. For many years following, leakage was light. Fast forward and the last 4 - 5 years leakage has increased to the point where I use 4-5 heavy pads a a day. In looking for a solution I came acroos the ProAct procedure. Pro - 1. Out patient surgery, quick recovery. 2. easily reversed. Con - Insurance (Medicare) won't cover it. I'm 78, retired and self pay will really drain my finances. Also if it doesn't work and has to be reversed the aftermath could be worse. Is there anybody out there experienced with ProAct? How did you fare?
