Incontinence after constipation

I recently had a sinus infection and had to take antibiotics to clear it up. After the antibiotics I had severe constipation. After the constipation I am experiencing a regression in nighttime continence.

I am just curious if anyone has experienced increased incontinence following constipation?

incontinence can be caused by constipation look up nocturnal enuresis many children who suffer from bedwetting do so because of constipation many children who suffer from encopresis aka soiling do so because of constipation and or withholding and these children with nocturnal enuresis and encopresis become adults with the same conditions I myself had issues with encopresis and nocturnal enuresis as a child my bedwetting stopped around 10 years old and I still have occasional issues with encopresis I am now fully urinary incontinent due to injuries in an auto accident

There's definitely a link - I have IBS-M and have constipation frequently - more often than not an episode is followed by diarrhea. I do wonder if my after-dribble was exacerbated by it before my urinary symptoms changed due to FND/Long Covid.

Oh yes, definitely! When I'm constipated, the accumulated stool blocks the urine from coming out. I will feel like I have to pee constantly, but only a little will come out. Then when I can finally have a bowel movement, the accumulated urine comes rushing out! And after that I have to pee a lot! Glad to hear I'm not the only one experiencing that!! Yes, definitely. You can use it with food! It has a bitter taste if you just drink it, you know, take 1/2 T like a medicine. Must more preferable to use it as a food. Just be careful not to use too much. Start with 1/2 T & see how it goes! I'm convinced this is the best olive oil I've ever encountered!
