Hi! I am Wet-Again...
I have been dealing with urinary incontinence for the past several years. It started as Post Void Dribble. It wasn't that much, but enough that I had to use a pad on a daily basis. I visited the Urologist and he recommended some medication, but it didn't help. I later developed OAB symptoms which made life even worse. Thankfully, those symptoms went away and I was back to dribbling. I say dribbling, but it was more like a gush of urine that would release shortly after I urinated.
My Urologist recommended surgery, but I was not ready for that at the time.
I moved from a city to a rural area. I found a new Urologist and I decided I could have surgery and improve my life, or I could continue gushing urine every time I visited the restroom.
I had Green Light Laser Therapy in October. This was followed with OAB but I figured it would subside over time. I am wearing incontinence underwear 24/7 and recently my OAB has worked to the point where I do not have time to undress to urinate. It just starts and my efforts to stop are pretty much useless. This also occurs when I wash my hands or rinse the dishes. Sometimes the flow is so strong, it overflows my incontinence underwear.
I contacted my Urologist office to see about a solution. I plan to call first thing Monday morning.
So far, I have been buying the over the counter products at Walmart. Primarily because that in the only store nearby. I either need better incontinence underwear, or perhaps a solution like an external catheter?
When I look online, it doesn't look like there is much information about men using these. Perhaps they just don't advertise?
I am going on vacation on Tuesday, and I hope for a better solution by then.
