I can't believe I am going to type this but.. I was told that I was dump on my doctor because no one is available to see me.. yep you read that right.. worst yet, she said I do presedures not follow up and consolations.. once more she said that she could not say that I should have ever been out of work for what I have.. Said that it's just like a sprained mucle and will take six to eight months to get working again.. that is after I get an appointment with the biofeedback therapist in a few weeks (pending that my insurance will cover it and I have the money for coypay)...o and she is going on vacation and will not be back until October 10th. So yes..

She literally asked me with my mother in the room what I was there for... like hello your office schedule this appointment, not me.. and I'm crapping and peeing my pants I according to you are getting Major spasms due to disfunction of my bowel and the other doctor said something completely different about what the outlook was for what I have but okay in six to eight months I might be okay...

And you are the assistant head of the department, a person who is responsible for overseeing other doctors..

But please tell me why you would not even put what you dignosed me with on the paperwork I need to be paid for the time I have already been out of work waiting for you and your fellow doctors to see me.

So freaking pissed and if I didn't have to go to bed so can go to work and try to make it through the night to make enough money to pay my bills because you don't feel like I should have been out of work...

She said that she would do the paperwork after my mother spoke up and said what do we have to do get me an lawyer to get paperwork filled out the same way that it was during my FMLA... which I get that she didn't do but she didn't even what to put on the paperwork what my dignoses is or what I am suffering with because of it which she knows because she did my anal test and colonoscopy.

Yea I need a new doctor, hospital and a lawyer.

What a so and so definitely get new Dr or lawyer.

They sounds like she needs a refund from the charm school over the way they talked to you.

@ThatFLGuy, Your diagnosis has to be put on the paperwork, or don't they know that at that place? That's plumb ridiculous! It seems like they are stalling you. And the biofeedback person is going on vacation until Oct. 10??? And you're going to have to wait out the entire month of September and some of October? Uh-uh! That wouldn't work for me. Nor for you! That's a travesty!
I think that a new doctor and a chat with a lawyer are definitely in order! Some lawyers will give you an initial consultation for free, while others say there is no cost unless you win the case.
And for as long as you've had to put up with this nonsense, not only see a lawyer but see a doctor who is in a completely different network!
All of the rigmarole you've put up with over the past couple of months is definitely obscene! And we'll still be here on your side pulling for you!

There is a licensing board that costs you nothing to pursue, but your name may get out as "trouble"

My advice? 1. See another doctor and they may know your current one is difficult. 2. Dont go to licensing board until you are cleared up. 3. Many of those specialists only do the procedure and send you back to another -ist or your GP, who doesnt know much, or 4. Go in and crap in her office during a call then ask when she wants you to recheck, 2 weeks or 4.

No the biofeedback therapist is a different person but my doctor is going on vacation and will be out until October. So my next appointment with her is not tell October 21.

I may have to wait two weeks for a call from the biofeedback therapist in order to get scheduled for treatment which is not okay with me..

And no. My dignoses is not on my medical records and the doctor doesn't want to put that on my records because "this is treat able and in six months you should be ok". How am I supposed to work feeling like this and pooping and peeing my pants two to four times in a twelve hour shift and not make it through a whole work week..

Hi @FLGuy, Sorry, my bad!! I think I may have missed something here. Even with the doctor going on vacation until October that is still too long to wait especially since you still have this condition and obviously extreme discomfort. For the time the doctor is going to be away, did they give you any kind of a treatment plan or a prescription? And having to wait two weeks just to get a call from the biofeedback therapist to schedule you is still unacceptable. No reason they can't at least call you much sooner to set up an appointment for whenever they have an opening.
And I'm kind of lost here as I thought everything that is diagnosed following an exam or test is noted on medical records whether it is treatable or not. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always had the impression that medical records state what the exam shows, or the diagnosis, and the recommendations for any kind of treatment. If what you have is treatable then did the doctor make any indication of plans to treat it? I hate to say this but something just doesn't add up here. I find it hard to believe that what you have is going to go away just like magic, or as the doctor said "in six months you should be ok." You do have a right to know just what you have and what treatment is indicated. If there is no treatment planned then that should go on record along with what the diagnosis is. If the doctor wouldn't indicate any diagnosis in your records then someone is not doing the job, for sure!
And it's going to be impossible for you to be expected to go along for another several weeks where you acutely need the bathroom two to four times in a 12 hour shift or risk having an accident.
Please do yourself a big favor and find a doctor who will take this seriously and come up with a definitive diagnosis and treatment plan. Your health and ultimate well-being depend on this.

Update..

Got called this morning for scheduling the first part of the biofeedback which will be on the 17th which is not that bad with all thing considered.

Hi, I hope it's the 17th of September, which is pretty reasonable, all things considered. Maybe things will begin to happen now. And of course we'll be with you all the way!
