If you want to receive emails (follow) from a topic - click the box next to EMAIL ALERTS in the upper right corner to the right of the topic title.
If you want to topic to appear in your threads - click the box next to YT in the upper right corner to the right of the EMAIL ALERTS. YT stands for Your Threads or Your Topics.
You can stop receiving emails by unchecking the EMAIL ALERTS box. This can be done at any time.
You can only remove topics / threads from Your Threads if you have not posted to the thread.
Put some information in your profile - Do not put your birthday - I just used the month and the first.
If you like what someone wrote, click on one to three hearts next to the top of the post.
