How to loose remaining continence for quality of life

Looking for tips for the opposite of what is usually asked.

How does one relax enough to let it follow into the diaper? For quality of life as issues with bladder cramping dehydrated because of urgency and would rather leak as I leak without knowing or feeling.

I am asking for a few reasons

1. Accept the incontinence and drink enough water so I don’t continue to make myself sick due ro dehydration.

2. After night time meds as my meds make me so sleepy I tend to fall.

3. I have feet issues to the point I have weigh baring issues.

4. I have been told not to self cath (by OT and continence nurse) due to my disabilities incl essential tremor in hands and autism

Many thanks

Well that is a different view and attitude about incontinence many of us myself included don't have a choice I even went through the 7 steps of grief over my incontinence and of course the final step is acceptance and it sounds like your accepting your incontinence but waning to increase your incontinence to move on is something I have never thought of, now that in mind anyone dealing with incontinence and looking around social media has more than likely run across the AB/L community that is ADULT BABY DIAPER LOVERS people who dress and act the part o babies for some it's a full lifestyle and I have heard of many of them trying to permanently become incontinent or there are some who want to be permanent bedwetters and there is discussion on different ways to wet the bed and or become incontinent including hypnosis if you really want to increase your incontinent I would discuss this with your Doctor with the same reasons you gave us and perhaps they can help find ways of coping with your incontinence Good Luck to you

I think you are saying that you feel guilty about using your diaper, so you don't drink enough water and have been risking a fall in attempting to get to the bathroom at night?

I will say that using a diaper did feel a bit unnatural for me, at first. But a type of acceptance does come with time. As you learn how to change yourself, and what kind of diaper works best for you, you will gain confidence. A diaper is merely a tool to make your life easier, so if you need a diaper, go ahead and use it.

A diaper is just underwear maybe a little thicker
