Hello to all

I'm happy to find this forum I have had a series of strokes that left me with right side weakness, chronic dizziness, exprssive aphasia and incontinence
It has been hard to get back to being useful instead of sitting around all the time. The incontinence has been sort of a nightmare. I'm afraid to go to town to stores or anywhere really. I use absorbent briefs that work pretty well to keep from leaking but it's hard to change them with my disability and I'm scared to do it anywhere but home. Was hoping to find some folks who understand and hopefully give and receive some good advice. Thank you for taking the time to read this. God bless.

Hi Matt im new here too. I been dealing with incontinence for 26 years now. You get used to it over time.

Hi Matt sorry that you have found your way here I have been incontinent for over 30 years now honestly you do not need to be afraid with the best diapers life can be as normal as possible. If you are having trouble putting diapers on what I have found is diapers with a plastic front landing zone that allows for adjustment. I pre-tape and effectively they become a pull up and can be adjusted for a snug fit. One thing that I can pass on is don’t be too hard on yourself and you are not alone anymore.
