Having a Cystometry/Cystometrogram (CMG) In January...

My urologist talked me into doing a Cystometry/Cystometrogram (CMG) test next month. The hope is seeing/getting more information on what my Pelvic Floor is/is not doing right.

This test is an anxiety monster for me already. My Urologist told me that this test should have been done years ago but it is not a fun test to say the least.

I just hope that it gives them some more information that will show just how bad things have been.

I've had Urodynamics twice, I didn't think it was terrible. Honestly, the tech on the last one was pretty efficient and had me out in something like 15-20 minutes. Everyone has a different experience, but IMO, If you done the whole catheter song and dance, then I would suspect you'll be fine.

A few other test might come up after this one. The urologist wants me back to PT, and see where things are at or if they got new technology that might point to something.

The biggest thing is that other than the surgeries that I have had on my guts, there is little reason that what is happening is. So now I want answers to why.

Now the hospital is bringing in a specialist. My appointment got changed and this doctor is going to do the Cystometry/Cystometrogram test. They want the best of the best to do the test so they can get data that they have never seen before.

This doctor looked over other test that I have had and was like, nope I want this patient. I aparently am such a hard case that he would like to do the study so that they can use data to see what they can try.
