External Catheter

Has anyone tested out enough of these external catheters to know what the best one is to get? I was going to get sling surgery but then cancelled it after I learned more about it. I am thinking of trying one of the external catheters and would like to know any thoughts on good ones vs. bad ones. Thank you.

I am just 2 months since my prostrate removal and just returned to work. I am 69 and not an office worker but a tradesman working on site or back at the workshop hands on. My concern was leakage with pads but didn't like the idea of changing pads all day even though before I went back to work, I was only leaking 100-150ml a day but since I am back at work on my feet all day its gone up to 600ml. So, I thought I would try the external catheter and leg bag this week and found best thing ever over the pads. I have been using the latex condom style but just found the adhesive strip they give to hold them in place just didn't stay in place allowing the catheter to come off. I now use a Velcro strip instead which does the job but wear an absorbent pad as well in case of catheter malfunction. As for the leg bag get a wash and reusable one which will give a few days use over just once. I am no expert on what catheter to get as I am just starting myself.
