DC Area Urol. Referral

I am in search of a 2nd opinion for a patient with Urinary retention. He has had BPH treatment (x 3) including most recently a TURP.He has no urethral obstruction but bladder muscles not contracting so not emptying. Only proposed solution at this time: self cath. Looking for second opinion, possible PT referral and center of excellence in the Washington DC area. Help much appreciated!

If he’s willi to travel a bit, I highly recommend Dr. Schenot in Philadelphia.

I see Dr. Stein at GW. While my only treatment is self cath maybe he will have a different result. Dr Stein is great though and I reccomend him.
