Hello, it has been a while since I was on here. I am not sure I am even in the right area, but here goes. (This may be long and roundabout.) OK, about two weeks ago, I thought I was having a stroke. (Nope) So I went to the Emergency. They checked the usual things: Heartbeat, Temp, Pee in the Bottle. Then ran an EKG, I guess all was OK, nothing negative was talked about after this. They then sent me down for an I think it was MRI machine for a head exam and neck, and lower extremities. (So, after all this, No Stroke. Thank Goodness) But they found a problem with my breathing? They found an aneurysm on the AORTA. They found a MASS on my BLADDER.
The Aorta issue and the Mass on the Bladder were both found and somewhere in my Medical File from November 2020. My GP Doctor, who had taken over in the Summer of 2020, had taken over for my old Doctor who was retiring. This was all missed until this was re-input into my FILE. I mentioned I was Incontinent to my Doctor back in 2021 when I saw my GP, and he said Do I want a Pill for incontinence to which I said NO. So mass has had almost years to percolate, and my incontinence has gotten worse.
What can I expect from my 1st visit today is Tuesday, 10/07, my appointment? is Thurs. 10/09? My doctor did mention Cystoscopies, and I did some reading about this, and a friend talked to me about it and said it's not fun, which I assumed from the description, etc., it will definitely not be fun. I know you all are not Doctors; you are the patients. I just need a little heads up on what to expect.
