Cystoscopy after care instructions

This is piggybacking on my post below about 3 ER trips. Last monday i had a Cystoscopy, Friday i got my catheter out. My instructions were drink water, No alcohol, no caffeine drinks,no spicy food. At this point i have no ability to stop pee from coming out. Yesterday I took it easy but i was sitting upright and getting up and sitting all day. I didnt "go " pee it just came out all day in a diaper. The only times I have had to go pee is in the middle of the night and when i first wake up. Should i be laying down more so i have to pee and make everything work the way it should?

From a cystoscopy? I have had several of them and went about my business afterwards.

I went In for it because I couldn't pee. They were looking for a blockage or scar tissue. They did stretch the urethra a bit hoping I wouldn't have to go back to ER because I couldn't pee.

Probably had hydro distention. If you can't pee now, you better go back in and have them place another Foley.

I can pee for now. I just hope it stays that way.

I would just play it by ear. Your seeing a Dr. so should be good
