Hello NAFC Forum Members!
We have a partner that is looking to interview a handful of women with stress urinary incontinence (bladder leakage experienced when you cough, laugh, sneeze, or put other pressure on your bladder). Interviews will take roughly an hour and questions will focus on your diagnosis, any treatments you've tried, the physical and emotional impact the condition has had on you, and your hope for future treatment. Those who participate will be compensated for their time.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact NAFC's Executive Director, Steven Gregg, at sgregg@nafc.org and he will put you in contact with this partner.

Thank you,
NAFC

I realize incontinence is more prevalent in women than men but why is it that all the compensated studies are for women men do have incontinence as well

Hi DPCare,
We share your thoughts and wish that more companies would do research with men. It's not our intent to only promote women-based studies, but these are the opportunities that come to us. When we hear about more opportunities for men we will definitely post them here as well.

These never actually pay and are scams; beware. I e completed so many of them and they’re just a cruel joke, even when “authorized” by the NAFC.

I can assure you that anything posted by NAFC is not a scam, has been vetted by us, and is typically from one of our partners. We also try to take down any posts in a similar nature that do not come from us.

Snow, if you (or anyone else) has been promised compensation for an opportunity presented here by NAFC and did not receive us, please let us know and we will look into it.
