clamps for urinary leakage

I tried the clamp in the early weeks after surgery. I expected the clamp to stop leakage, it didn't. The feeling was weird also. The clamp was put up and never used again. Received a sample of the condom catheters. After reading more about the prep involved I never tried them. They are still in the bag. I still use a disposable diaper with a pad. Works for me. Do some kegels when I think of it. I'm 9 months after and still leak with coughing, sneezing or lifting heavy items. I may need pads the rest of my life...only time will tell. I've adjusted and seem to have accepted where I'm at.
 
I have only heard of the sling. Im not to keen on any other surgeries. They claim 83% success with sling but Im from Missouri
