Chiropractor

So ive been going to a chiropractor for a few weeks and its really helped my bladder control. All the neurologists, urologists and god knows what other docs I've seen in huge expencive hospitals all say the only help is meds i cant tolerate or surgery i dont want. This guy in a humble office in the suburbs took a look at my xray and pointed out a bunch of misalignments and disc compression. 3 adjustments later ive got much more control and mich less urgency.

Overall its not too expencive compared to regular docs but my insurance denied the claim. Im paying cash and while i understand not everyone can write that check every week, id still look into it because its so worth it.

Well done. I totally agree and did the same some years ago. They can help with incontinence but won't work for all people.

No solution is universal. I guess im just stunned that the big hospitals arent interested in this. Clearly they have access to the papers/ journals that show how it works, yet they just call it quakery and continue dispensing poison and doing avoidable surgery.

40 Years ago I stress factored both legs while training for the NY Marathon. I went to a sport orthopedic doctor who recommended surgery to prevent the stress facture from happening again. My father asked me to speak to his uncle who was a psychiatrist. He asked me to go to a sports chiropractor before having surgery. The chiropractor looked at the X-Rays, did an examination of how I walked and told me my hips were not even. After 4 treatments I was good as new. I totally agree that the medical establishment has a negative point of view about chiropractors. I still see a chiropractor as needed (maybe 4 times a year-usually after a big snowfall) and believe in their ability to realign the body. Glad you have found something that works for you!
