Biofeedback

Hi I’ve been doing biofeedback pelvic floor physical therapy for about four weeks. The problem is a constantly leak. Urine will day long. At least every 1 to 5 minutes…when I do the bio feedback I noticed improvement for an hour or so afterwards but that’s it. Has anybody done this before and seen long term improvement? Thanks

Biofeedback does not directly address incontinence. It is used in conjunction with Kegal exercises to measure the effectiveness of Kegal performance. So you really should not see or feel immediate relief from incontinence by using biofeedback. However, biofeedback will help you do your Kegals more effectively and this will help you reach continence more quickly. Good luck!
