Anyone have experience with oxybutynin for OAB

Thanks for everyone’s response! I’m stopping today as it’s messing up my ability to function even more than when I was without it. Plus for some reason it feels like the urge and frequency to urinate is even more now.
I have a earlier follow up appointment to discuss any other options. Thanks again!

I have used this medication for several years, its a awful med, but it does help my bladder spasms some, I have tried others with no success. My urology team told me I must stay on this medication with the cathing that must be done or a Foley. Yes I notice memory issues,, horrible dry mouth, and others. If I didn't have the awful bladder spasms and pain, I would stop it now.

I had dry mouth but the mood changes were absolutely horrible. Im currently trying mybertriq. It really helps with daytime bladder activity. Night time, not so much.

for dry mouth from oxy (or anything else) you may want to try Biotine.
It's not perfect, but it does give some relief.

My insurance just dropped Myrbetriq. It had the least side effects out of any of the others, but it wasn't worth almost $500 a month.

My Dr didn't really give me any instructions on how to administer the Oxybutin. Twice a day was all he said. It helps some during the day but the nights are awful even with not drinking after 6 pm. Is there some way to take the Oxybutin so it will help with night times?

No results with Oxy. Some help from Myrbetriq which is my favorite. I try to use it when I have a busy day and won't always be close to a rest room. This is hard for all of us but we have to keep rolling. Happy 4th of July!

Oh yes I did Botox and was not happy with the results besides it hurt.

Yeah, not the most comfortable procedure for sure. Ouch. It did help me allot but still trying to get my HSA straightened out from the first procedure. Apparently Bank of America think Botox injections in the human bladder are cosmetic...

First drug I tried...I lasted a week on it even though I wanted to quit on day 2. Headaches, dry mouth, just felt awful....same thing with the other 5 meds I tried. Symptom improvement was maybe like 30% so I still needed diapers and felt like hell....I gave up on meds...would rather wear diapers than feel like that.
