A lot to think about.

Today was an okay day until late in the day. I went to a wedding for a family member and I did photos. It was good to get some camera time but I am really paying for it now. The wedding was outside and then the reception was inside and I had to eat at that point. I ended up leaving early feeling bound up after trying to go to the bathroom. The issue is that when I get feeling as bad as I did today I cannot go at all 1 or 2. I am going to call my GI doctor on Monday because my hepatology doctor never sent my GI a message to follow up with me. So all around my big issue is that I am sleeping all the time. 12+ hours, In a lot of pain, whenever I do anything and my sides are killing me and Hepatology does not feel that it is something he can/should do anything about.

I have felt that this issue with pain in my right side just below my rib is a digestive issue for a long time and hepatology is saying that he does not feel it is something in his wheelhouse of things to fix so it is back to step one which is "HAY GI, WHAT THE HECK."

Still cannot take anything for pain. If things get worse I will end up back in the ER/ED and everything sucks right now.

It's possible it could be a gal bladder issue. I had mine removed when I was around 25. Pain was unbearable. Have had zero issues with eating, drinking, etc. Pretty much eat what I want within reason. Being diabetic limits sweets, etc. I am on insulin now, so I just not overdo it.

That's the thing, a part of the test had squed results because stuff progressed faster than should have. Hep wants me to see GI again but he is dual certificate GI/Hep
So should have pushed for the next test even if he sent me to GI to do it. Now I am in limbo and still in pain because I can't take anything because my liver enzymes are messed up.

It's frustrating because I have to drive to my gastroenterologist office to get seen sooner than they will put me on the schedule.

I had mine removed also. really starts hurt when i ate anything but sherbet. it was in the middle of me, right underneath my rib cage, like someone was striking a knife in me. take care-I would go to your GI guy first thing Monday, ask for an appointment asap.

My gal bladder pain was only severe for about a day or so. Then it went away with no pain. Turned out my gall bladder was gangrenous

At that time, late 70s, I underwent numerous tests and doctors couldn't figure out what was happening. Did exploratory surgery and found out what was going on. Gall bladder removed and spent an additional week in hospital recovering. Now a days, you pretty much can have it done on your lunch hour.LOL. My have things changed.

That can happen with the bladder, I had a bunch of little stones in mind. It was awful when they got pugged. Sometime a cat scan is the only way to see it. I lost a lot of weight then, couldn't eat anything but sherbet and drink lots of tea with honey and water.

Things have changed a lot. Today is day surgery I think. I spent 10 days in the hospital wouldn't let me go home until I had a BM.

I had my gallbladder removed when I was 20. Pain and lots of digestive issues. Spent a week in the hospital they figured out my gallbladder was dead, took it out and I went home in a few days. Definitely something to get checked out

My issue with everything is that I am smart enough to understand the results as well as what the technician told me and I don't feel like my questions were answered by the Hep doctor. Under the impression section of my results, it says "Suboptimal filling of the gallbladder, which began emptying prior to the administration of the provocative meal, which limits the accuracy of the calculated ejection fraction. The calculated EF was 64%, which is within normal limits."

I know I posted this before but here is the thing. That statement literally says that the results of the test that they did were messed up because my gallbladder filled before it should have. But Hep feels like it is something for GI to look at and the reason is that the next two tests that can be done are both done through an endoscopy. But Hep could have set that up. He did not even want to redo my blood work so tomorrow I am going to call and raise hell about it. I have felt sick for far too long this time with this not be taken seriously. My mom noticed yesterday that my hands are shaking a lot and I told her that it is fine, but she knows me better than that. I shake when I am fighting pain or my brain is overwhelmed with information. I even get uncontrolled twitches all the time right now.

My thought is that I need someone to look at my whole history and not just the here and now because something is not right.

prayers-need to have them look to see what the issue is, even if it is not your gallbladder-you need to know this-something is not right. Fighting to have it done is good. Want to know what is causing pain. Pain is not good to live with, I did for years and no one believed me. Here I had a brain tumor.
