Hi everyone, After a short break I’m back I’ve missed the forum and had to return. I’m now 6 months since surgery and have to say I’m pretty much dry but still having trouble with erections. With covid trying to see my dr is near impossible. Can anyone recommend anything to help me along in this area? You’ve all been a great help to me since the beginning and I thank you all again.

Hi,none of my business and did you have a problem with elections before ( you don't have to answer).
My specialist told me that it could take time, have patience, maybe look at some erotic films.

Hi Teddy never had a problem in this area at all and it’s bringing me down. I watch porn sometimes and feel a slight twinge down there but just can’t get there. Thanks for replying

Firstly, congratulations on being substantially dry at 6 months.
I am 3 and haven't seen much if any improvement.
I was told that there are at least 5 options for erection issues.
There is always a solution depending on what you are willing to do.
The first one is patience... which I don't personally have.
Second one is medication. Blue pill, etc.
Third is a pump.
Fourth are penile injections which i am about to try.
Then there are implants.
So i guess we have plenty of options!

I started to dry up at about 4 months but didn’t get real improvements until about 5 and after that it’s better every day so your almost there. Thought of pills and not crazy about injections. I watch some porn and sometimes it feels like it’s growing then just stops. So I have to come to a decision soon as I can’t I’ve without having sex again.

How much do you believe the Kegel's helped with starting to get dry at 4 months?
Ive also been inquiring about surgery for incontinence if all else fails.

I didn’t really have serious ED issues before the surgery but I did try the ED meds. Unfortunately they give me a terrible headache.
So also tried the pump but that didn't really improve what I was already able to accomplish with Foreplay.
I have already done the pre-education class for the injections and it doesn't seem like its a big deal. However sticking a needle in my penis might be a little intimidating at first.
The surgeon said to bring my wife to the class where i actually get the shot so she can learn how to inject as well.
I think my main point is that there are solutions so we don't have to give up sex because of the surgery.

Honestly I don’t think Kerala helped me at all. I was doin 3 sets of 12 a day and when I started to cut back I started to get more dry. I was a lot and I think that helped more than Kegsls. If your only 3 months out give it another month and I’m sure youll see improvements hang in there

Hi,me again. My specialist told me that if I had problem of having an erection my robatic surgery won't solve my problem,he offered me Viagra or ( I just don't remember the name odfthe other one )but when I was taking them after my erection all the viens around my neck and head was in pain.I had erections before my operation not as often as I would of like it but I take it as it comes. Also I have a very understanding wife and we just have to use our imagination.

Surgery definitely does not improve prior ED issues.
And unfortunately if the surgeon is not able to salvage the nerve bundles around your prostate its much worse.
He could only salvage about 50% of mine so I am already behind the curve.
I am using sex toys to keep my wife “entertained “ but its hard to get in the mood with the incontinence.
Cant wait to see some improvement!

I think a nice woman talking to me would do the world of good. I have to find a solution soon as I’m very frustrated

Brendan...
If you can't get into see your doctor about this, there are options online.
I used "Roman". Their site is getroman.com. My E.D. is age/genetics related, not due to prostate removal. When I went to their website, they had me fill out an online questionnaire. Then I had an online chat with one of their staff doctors. It was a pretty simple process, and they sent me a prescription of generic viagra. (small white pills, not blue.) They have an "Auto-refill" plan, but after I got my initial supply, I just cancelled the auto-refill option online, so I can order when I want. It worked good for me.
