What are you grateful for

In the midst of all the shitty (literally) things that have happened today. I’m grateful for:

A roof over my head.
Food in my fridge.
Getting my leg fixed tomorrow.
My cat.
That my accident happened at home.
That I was wearing a worn out pair of shorts over my pul pants and diaper. No real loss.
That I have enough diapers to last til I get my disability disability check.
The fact that I get a disability check.
Hot chocolate
Running water.
You all.

What about you?

Amen. I am grateful for ever day I can get out of bed, my pillow, hot water, my car, my friends, food, health care, the Lord and his blessings.

Pretty kitty. I lost my beloved 15 year old standard poodle Grace in late May. I’m very grateful for my standard poodle Sailor, who is not quite 2 and my foster standard poodle, Chex, who is nearly 15.

Glad you "stop dropped and rolled" EJ, my phrase for when some parts of our day are chaotic because of body functions others take for granted by stopping, to realize what we do have, dropping to be grateful for the basics of human need fulfilled shelter food water, hygiene supplies, and roll, the companionship of our non-judgmental pets and the open communications here, we roll along into a state of grace and gratitude .
I FEEL SO GRATEFUL FOR EACH DAY OF NOTHING INSURMOUNTABLE HAPPENED.ALL I LOVE ARE WELL.

I am grateful for everything I have in my life and my only health problems are my nightly bedwetting and day time incontinence

posts on forums asking others what people are greatful for (seriously, really good to have that distraction)

having a roof over my head (specially in the recent weather we've been having)

probably other things too, but they are what come to mind

A roof over my head
Food that is readily accessible and available
clean water to drink and bathe in
This forum (nobody paid me to say that!!😄)
People with a sense of humor
People who are just plain decent and have compassion for others
Reliable electricity

A place where I can do volunteer work
Life in general

Good list, Justej. I'm grateful that things aren't as bad as they could have been. My life right now is blessed beyond what I could have imagined, and by that, I don't mean that everything is rosy, but that walking with the Lord makes the bad stuff tolerable.

Hello all. I'm going to jump in also and say,
Friends
Family
Food
Diapers
Roof over my head
Job
Money
Vehicle
I would say other than covid, the fresh air we breathe
I would have to say the top ones would be our doctors clinics and hospitals. They are our Frontline. I guess I could go on and on. That's a few at the top of my list.

Grateful to God my heavenly father for true mercy thru his son, my Lord Jesus Christ first and foremost.
Also for my wife who never left me thru my ordeal with pelvic floor dysfunction and God for humbling me because I was a awful husband to my wife.

Cute cat btw,I love cats.
