2019 was not a great year for me. From diverticulitis leading to my first major surgery and a huge amount of medical dept to not doing well in my masters degree program. Now that 2020 has started I have found that some of the same issue that effected me last year are still a problem. I had a second colonoscopy a week and a half ago and luck I got a clean bill of health but have to watch what I eat more and also have to increase my fiber. I am taking Metamucil now and it is helping a lot with the diarrhea that I was dealing with last year. The big thing is that the Metamucil at first caused issues. I was fighting to hold my bladder a lot more if I took it before work. Now that I started taking it before bed that is not an issue. My Doctor thinks that part of my issue is hemorrhoids as well as over active bladder but as bladder is not his area of specialty he wants me to follow up with a general care doctor and then maybe a specialist.

The good thing is that my work insurence has covered all of this so far but I do have a deductible.

This year I am going to focus on my health and school and not worry about things that I cannot change. I am eating better and if this year leads to needing more medical testing than I am ready for it.

Really happy that you are focusing on the intelligence and interesting parts of yourself! Taking care if your eating so improving the quality of life that you do have control over.
Dont let them put you through a medical conveyer belt just because you have insurance!
You are taking care of YOU!! Cheers!

It sounds like you need a urologist to address your bladder issues. You may want to get a referral for one from your primary care physician or a friend or relative.
