I was on Trospium for a while. It was after failed trial of oxybutynin. Both meds helped a little but also had intolerable side effects. After tying several meds I now take myrbetriq @50mg which is helping more than any others and with least side effects. Still not completely solving my issues but better. Every person is different and every med is too. Best wishes for success!

Don't forget to check "interactions" with other drugs; if you take a lot of meds, especially. Doctors/nurses can hardly keep up with it. Drugs.com is good for that.

I'm on 15mg of oxybutynin, and my Dr. wants to up it too 20mg, but I cannot hardly take the side effects its doing to me. She also told me I must be on this so I keep trying, have tried myrbetriq 50mg also, but it just didn't do it. If I go off the Oxybutynin more pain and incontinence will comeback. I just don't know what to do. I do feel better when the Foley is up in me, but I really feel like a patient then.
