The next 90 days.

I had a long conversation with my disability insurance representative /Rep tonight. A few big questions got answered and I got a few things off my chest about Who they hired to do my social security claim.

The big takeaway is that I have a lot to do in the next 90 days. My Rep Feels that due to the high amount of information they have on me already that there is not much question about my current status. This doesn't mean much though because a whole new team will be looking at everything and deciding if I can do any job and not just the ones that I had before all of this started.

I know what my PCP and Surgeon both told me but I have to be sure that it is given to my insurance as right now it is only on internal notes and not my visit notes.

This means that it takes special paperwork for even me to get.

Luckily I see my surgeon before this discussion is going to be had.
I am going to have to call my case manager about some other issue as I need to be seen by both PCP and my gastroenterologist asap though.

My Gastroenterologist is a big WTH because I called today to set up to see her but was told the soonest that I could be seen was February of next year (WHT). She already should have seen me twice since my surgery in April but doesn't return calls or have any appointment time slots. (Even my case manager reached out to her about not seeing me and no call/massage was returned so my case manager is pissed off at GI doc.)

So now I have to make sure all my paperwork is in line for this reassessment and hope that everything goes my way or I will be in very bad shape.

I am going to be blunt with doctors this time though and let them know that this has to be done the right way moving forward because there is no undoing the surgery that they did and no way for me to do anything with the side effects of this.

The last thing is that in September when I see my surgeon again we will be talking about the next surgery that I will need so that will help this case but will suck for me.

Sounds like you made a lot of progress with your decisions; good job! Also sounds like a rough 90 days ahead! Stupid paperwork!

It's completely UNACCEPTABLE that your GI doctor can't see you until February of 2023. Did you ask to be put on a cancellation list? I would! Wish you well!!

A bit of an update.

I am going to be seeing a Certified Nurse Practioner with GI next month. My Actual GI doctor Has been noted by my case manager as a No-Reply. I also have moved up several other appointments to September so that I can get a baseline of what my doctors want to do next and how they feel about what to do moving forward.

Right now my day-to-day life is suffering due to how I feel all the time. I manage to do stuff one day but then I am down for 24-48 hours after that. I lack a lot of energy and the heat just does me in. If I get dehydrated then I have to go to the hospital because I cannot get myself back where I need to be.

So now I am in a big waiting game and will be getting paperwork ready for doctor's visits.
