Yes I was. Army medic and military police. Thank you very much for your support! Although willing, I did not end up giving all. So many did. My best buddy Arron Chappel gave all. I was his best man at his wedding. He was the only friend in the service who came many times to visit me. He was a huge help with my physical recovery but moreso in my mental recovery. 6 years ago, his group hit an IED. He and two others died. I talked to his wife today on the phone. She and her son are doing well. Thank you Arron and the tens of thousands who gave all before you and the POW'S and MIA's.

Brother Arron is with you and with us. We can never thank him or his survivors enough for his willingness to sacrifice all for the love of country and of his family and friends. His sacrifice was the ultimate, but do discount your sacrifice for love of country and fellow American.
Steven it could have been you and that is the respect we give you on this day of remembrance and recognition. Bless you and your service for all.
