So yesterday I finally got back to physical therapy. (My pt person didn't have a lot of opening this month) So we finally did the balloon test and found out a lot. (Ask if you want and I will DM you because it's kind of TMI or Google balloon expulsion test for more information)

Long story short you found out a lot about any type of sensation or anything that I have dealing with the internal muscles. This gave my PT person a very clear picture of what's going on and we're going to continue to work with the balloon test but it'll also give good records for what type of sensations I have. The big thing that my PT was able to do by using this test was to look back at the anal manometry test that I had and see that thing have gotten worse in certain cases versus better. Her treatment plan for me moving forward is to continue with the balloon study test and then request that we repeat other tests that I've had to show whether or not there's any type of improvements whatsoever. This was a big deal because until today we had no clue what was actually going on and now we have a better understanding.

Again I can't say enough about this PT person She is a saint in my eyes because she's focused so much on my care as well as coordinating with other doctors and stuff like that to keep them on their toes to make sure that they're doing the best they can for me. She even went so far as to message my GI doctor today to say that hey we just did this and it's indicating that there's some more issues that we need to address.

The last thing that she said is that she agrees that I should try to get the blood work repeated for my liver enzymes so that way we have a good idea every month of what they look like. So I will be speaking with my general practitioner in order to get that scheduled and keep up to date with those tests.
All in not a bad day not exactly the answers that I was looking for but at least now we know that things have not progressed like we thought they had.

Hi Friend, here's something about your story I dont understand.
It sounds like you have been on a carousel a mery go round of testing now repeating in circles since you got health care in PA.

My understanding from a long ago post is you jumped off a bridge in a cannonball posture
Got injured badly including some internal organ damage and a Florida doctor put your insides back together but something made you lose control of a section of your lower intestines or excretion muscles since then?

Im beyond puzzled by the round robin of diagnostic meetings with doctors .eating you in pain and lack of quality if daily life and yet nothing more than testing.

I am glad you have this PT. She sounds amazing! It's heartening to know that somebody cares and is on the ball for you. Hang onto the good things, and good luck, FL Guy!

Your PT is truly a real keeper and takes her job very seriously and it sounds like her attitude is that she treats you like your her only patient (which of course isn't really the case) But she does put you first! Wouldn't it be nice if everyone can say that about his or her medical providers????

So, It took me a bit to find the post about that incident. (It was on Incontinence support center.org 2/11/2017)

Here is the thing, there is a bit more to that event that what I posted. I use to hang out with a lot of rednecks when I lived in Florida. The area that we were swimming had a lot of blue-green algae cyanobacteria but we did not know it at the time. I just figured it was stuff I ate. The bridge we were jumping off was more of a elevated dock were my friends dad had crawfish traps. We were all having a good time but a lot of people that were there got sick. My problem was I waited to long to go to the ER/ED because I truly thought it was food related.

So, here is the big thing about that event. I have brought it up to my GI doctors as well as everything else. Nothing about my past issue has ever been taken into account. I did not have any surgery during that event but more of a lot of antibiotics and a clean out. I issue with work happened during the time I was just starting at Wal-Mart.

A lot about that event I don't remember but I talked to my mom about it because I wanted to find that original post and try to understand everything. I was 18 not yet 19. It was near where I grew up before moving around in Florida. I was in the Hospital for two day but was a mess for a long time after that.

Here is the other thing. Going back on Incontinentsupportcenter I see that there is a lot that I have not posted here. I have had bowel issues off and on for most of my life and the one thing that stands out over all of the stuff that happened is that no doctor has ever look at everything and taken that into account of what is going on now.
