Quadmix

I'm seven months post RP. Incontinence has improved markedly: only a few mls per day. I hope it drops to nothing soon. However, erections are another story. No progress on that front. I use a penis pump (Vacurect) occasionally. I have chronic migraines, and all the ED medications make them almost unbearably worse. Daily Cialis kills my joints as well; so much so that I cannot sleep due to the pain.

I tried a Trimix injection this week, and the pain it caused was unacceptable. Very severe. Quadmix was suggested as an alternative, bur I have been unable to find any evidence that it causes less pain. Some people seem to suggest that Bimix is less painful. Does anyone have any experience with Quadmix, or have any other suggestions?
Thanks.

@kelO Surgery is the only other option I know of. There is other snake oil type stuff out there but all I have heard they were good for is taking your money. If you are not having nocturnal erections you should be using your VED for therapy. Without nocturnal erections damage will happen and your tissue will become less elastic and atrophy. The VED therapy will slow down this process and may even reverse some recent loss. Surgery has been said to be the only thing that stops the damage though. There are some documents on this that are worth the read.
https://www.healthwise.net/osumychart/Content/StdDocument.aspx?DOCHWID=custom.jc0101 That is a shorter more current read. Revised 10/22. It has shorter times under vacuum and more repetitions. https://augustams.com/how-to-use-a-penis-pump-for-penis-exercise/ That is a longer read that does a really good job of explaining it all. It is a little older and has longer time with vacuum applied. One thought on this is longer time will give more results. The other is longer time with vacuum applied is starving the tissue as circulation is stopped. And shorter time but more repeated application of vacuum Will keep the tissue healthier. A VED with a gauge is what I think is best. That way you can see how much vacuum is being applied. Not only to keep max vacuum down. But it watch for early spikes as damage can happen even with low vacuum being applied too fast. VED therapy will give you some time to work on this and decide what you want to do. Take care.

I have migraines too - but am able to take 10 mg of daily cialis (tadalafil). I took trimix inject for 9 months. The injection jump started natural erections continued with daily tadalafil.

I discovered the below article. From my understanding the fourth medicine is a nerve blocker.

I agree with your assessment that trying bimix before quadmix may be better.

The fourth ingredient is atropine sulfate
(A-troh-peen SUL-fayt) A drug used to block nerve stimulation of muscles and glands and relax smooth muscles. It is also used to increase heart rate, reduce secretions, and treat the effects of certain poisons. It is a type of antimuscarinic agent and a type of tropane alkaloid.

Huh, I've never even heard of quadmix. I'm glad you brought it to my attention. Both trimix and bimix were painful for me. I doubt I will be trying quadmix after my experiences with the other two, but I will be sure to bring it up for discussion the next time I meet with my urologist.

I started with just one drug in the mix and had too much pain. Bimix didn’t work for me. When I switched to Trimix it was the solution. Before you give up get your pharmacist to adjust the relative dosages of the 3 solutions to see if that helps. I believe prostatil causes the pain so try with less in the mix. I recommend combining the shot with a Xialis constriction ring.

Thanks, everyone, for your replies, links and suggestions. I might see if my urologist/pharmacist can alter the dosages of whatever mix I use before I give up.
