Preparing for travel

Last year for Xmas I stayed at home in DC for the holidays instead of going to Colorado to visit family due to Covid. This year I’m taking the plunge and going for 10 days. I shipped 3 packs of MegaMax in black and some wipes to my parents cabin in the mountains. I’ll pack extras in my suitcase.

As mentioned in another post I asked my parents for some bodysuits as a Xmas present. Not ideal but I can’t afford them and I need more. I’m very open with my parents about my incontienence. They don’t make fun of me or make me feel ashamed which I am extremely grateful for. A few years ago my mom actually wanted me to talk to my nephews about it so they would know that there is no shame about my issues and not to make fun of others if they are experiencing incontienence (or if they saw my diapers) I never did but I’m super grateful to have accepting parents. Hell they have bought diapers for me in the past.

@justej Me too; my mom is amazingly kind, helpful, and accepting. My dad is, sometimes, though he’s mostly abusive. But in the long run, they’re a good team and I’m very grateful they raised me to be me.

My best friend’s dad, who I’ve known since I was 10 years old, died this morning from bronchial cancer. Watching what she’s gone through over the past two months has made me even more grateful that my parents are who they are. They’ve always made this time of year particularly magical.
