Pre surgery check up tomorrow. Life Update.

Tomorrow at 11am is my pre surgery check up. To say that I am stressed about it is a huge understatement.

I am meeting with an ostomy nurse and that is where everything will be descussed as to what life will be like post surgery. It is also were complecations will be talked about.

At this point I am more worried about the after than the during.


As far as life goes: I am still fighting with Social Security but that seems to be heading in a good direction. I ended up speaking with a local Social security rep and got some good information. Tomorrow I will be sending paperwork over that show surgery is happing so that should help.

My parents are staying in town and comming to the hospital with me and family around here is on call for when I get out. (My cusin is going to help with stuff like taking trash down and getting groceries up will be from my Nanny.)

Still not ready for this life change.

Hope you just take it one step at a time.youve done everything to try to fix this with out surgery so it's a logical step. Be well, know we've been with you so far and want the best for you.

I wish you the best. Please let us know how it goes with the nurse and the surgery. Please also ask her if you should be staying closer to urgent medical care for a while (as in for months, or forever).
