Hi! Recently, I had several x-rays taken for a VA disability claim. Most came back normal, or at least what you would expect for someone my age, i.e. arthritis, and stuff like that.
Anyway, my left knee caused some concern. It has a 'blastic' area on the femur. My Primary Care Provider suggested this is "usually" associated with prostate cancer. Anyone who has read my posts will know I just has Greenlight Laser Therapy for BPH. There are several other cancers that can cause these tumors.
I will be scheduling a bone scan tomorrow. Due to a genetic mutation, I will also be getting a mammogram.
I am normally a take it as it comes kind of guy, but the way this has been slow walked is driving me crazy. It has been more than a month since I found out there might be a problem, and they just approved testing for it.
It could be nothing... but when people use the 'C' word, it is like the sword of Damacles, perhaps you remember that from The Three Stooges, is hanging over your head.
