Oxybutynin - does it help?

@Jh2025 Let’s see…It did lessen urge frequency and incontinence but not eliminated it altogether. At that time I did not have nocturnal leakage nor as severe pelvic issues I am experiencing today. So, my motivation was not as driven maybe as it would today. However, the cognitive effects were my big concern as it effected my livelihood. I do find the studies of dementia concern to be a concerning.

I did try PTNS, it was relatively new, and it helped with calming the bladder without the side effects. Though it did not cure me, it made life better.

Regarding edema, my urologist brought it up along with sleep apnea to me in conversation about general causes though we did not discuss it in depth. I brought it up as a possibility. It didn’t seem applicable to me at the time as I don’t show signs of swelling, and I am very active and fit. Thought I snore, snork supposedly. 🙂
