Overnight diapers suited to women

I've tried all the disposable underwear suggested over time and feel like I am sitting in a swimming pool.
Any women have suggestions of ones that don't have a big wet pad. Leaving a puddle underneath one for night use?

I have reverted to using bath towels between my legs and a bed pad so I am not disturbed by the swimming pool effect which keeps me awake throughout the night and is far from perfect. Mattress inevitable gets wet inspite of waterproof cover.
Bottles of Nature mirac pored on mattress.
Sleeping well vs light and half awake.

L use a [pull up day and night also a always use a heavy pad inside the pull up, and I always sleep on a pad and that keeps your sheets clean. I have also lots of leekage day and night . I have tried numerous things and procedures and most doesn't help. I also wear a nice rubber pants over my pull up' I just wish I could find a cure or procedure that what help or cure me. Good Luck finding A new product that works. They all have great revues , but they do not always work . I am also a 73 year old female

MayMay,

Of course I cannot speak for women but I can attest to my own research. I have tried many diapers for night--tranquility, abena, Northshore, and Betterdry.

Tranquility are best for discretion except for the plastic cover which actually is not excessively noisy. These would be great for day use which I do not need but easy to hide.

Abenas are good/comfortable but more difficult to wear discreetly.and would probably work for you.

Northshore are good/great absorbancy but thick. Makes for a great night time option but hard to disguise.

Betterdry are great as well but similar to the Northshore and Abena they are difficult to hide as they are relatively thick.

I would guess any of the four could work but my vote goes to Northshore or Betterdry if they are only for nightime use. Bettedry seem to it me best and that is why is use them.

Good luck. Hope I didn't interject where not requested.

Thank you I've tried and hated Betterdry and mega Max.
The problem is a woman doesn't have direct contact with the diaper so there's a free fall and it gets into puddle which absorbs slowly.
The best thing I found is a baby diaper with backing cut off as best as possible in a night max absorbency pull up so it's right up close and personal but being away is it working? Is it not ? Gets me into a light restless star.
Probably it is the best I can hope for.

I wish you the best. I would not have thought of that.

Good luck and thanks for your place in this community

@Maymay941 - Hey Maymay, I too have been in that swimming pool especially after breaking my hip. My husband is on disability with Medicare and I am on Medicare. We do okay with our income, so for me it all comes down to affordability with
the pull ups. I use the night time Depends all the time. They really aren't that great. At night I put 3 Medline pads (34×36 I think) on my side of the bed. Being a side sleeper, the top one will be the wettest. The 2nd underneath generally will have some damp spots. The 3rd pad on the bottom saves our sheets, but not always. Thankfully we don't have to worry about the mattress, because it's a California king water bed. I have a bedside comode which helps, but I am not always fast enough (or limber enough). - Oh to have my bladder of iron that worked for many years. A magic pill would be nice, but I would settle for a magic pull up. - Pam

Thank you Pammy!
I have the same backstory on iron bladder that is now capricious. I sent you a private message about portable flexible female urinal that has been a huge help with the sudden urge to pee during the day.
Sounds trigger me unexpectedly like crinkling paper or running the washer machine or a door closing.
Basically pulling open buttons zipper and getting pants down is often a losing battle during the day. So I don't get to sit down and have to shower again and change pants. Not always an option unless I stay home!
This has been incredibly helpful as I trained my brain bladder to wait for the sensation of the device in place.

One name brand is called Go Girl. Or Google female portable urinal and then in separate Google search how to use a female portable urinal. That's the game changer, how exactly to use it which the item doesn't give instructions on!!!!
I would like to share more if a Women section is set up on NAFC

Apart from that I think you are right a bunch of strategically placed pads in a diaper and bed pads is as good as it gets although a baby diaper with backing cut off or open can be molded into a fat squishy lump that nests up against the exact inner body without the liquid having to travel.men have an opening from the extended male urinary part (penis lol)that hits the wall of diaper so I presume absorbs it with no pool forming in the gap between self and ones disposable pants.
I feel like I spend too much time every morning cleaning up and laundry because of the condition but never getting a good night's sleep half aware of is my disposable working? Am I leaking? Do I have to was all the bedding is really tiresome.
Not to mention if I travel overnight a poor night sleep guaranteed.

@Maymay941 hi there, I use the “Night Defense” version of Depends pull up as well. I buy them one size smaller than I need them to be in my waist, and then it sits tight in my crotch. For the waist, I make a 2 inch cut down the middle of the front, so that it will fit my waist also.
