Overactive bladder Only At Night (Female)

I take Mybetriq 50 mg before I go to bed. I do not have an overactive bladder during the day - only at night. I also do not drink anything near bedtime and consume very little liquids during the day. Recently, I have been awakened twice nightly to go to the bathroom and I am wondering if I should take the Mybetriq in the morning instead of at night. I can't understand what the cause of this could be. Any suggestions'?

I would practice holding during the day, and throughout the night. Obviously, you don't want to take that too far. You should just try to wait a little bit longer each time, hopefully not wetting yourself in the process. Try to get your body used to waiting 5 hours (I know that is tough), before going without protection at night. With protection, you can wait it out a little. Time yourself, just make it a little bit longer each time.

Obviously, avoid coffee or other things that will make you need to pee before bed. I wish that I could help more. My problem is more with urgency. My need to pee ramps up very fast, rather than needing to go very frequently, like you.

It sounds like you have frequent trips to the bathroom, rather than actually wetting the bed. Is this true?

I really wish you they best @terri232 and I will keep you in my thoughts. We are here to support you.
