New issue. Might need to upgrade.

I have been an avid BetterDry/Crinklz user for a long time. They have worked for me great but now they are falling apart inside during the night. All the material is in the crouch and you can see through to the plastic. I am a heavy wetter. I use Abena Let Anatomic booster pads in every diaper which is not the most absorbent booster on the market but it is more comfortable during the day. I might try ordering a pack of different booster pads but my main issue is that BetterDry/Crinklz are falling apart after just 6 hours during the night. I do move around a bit at night. I have tried Mega Max and they don't work for me.

Ugh.

Don't know what to do.

Try mega max by northshore- they may cost more but I don’t need to use a booster with them so the cost evens out - out of all the diapers I tried MegaMax is the only one I can wear long periods at a time and the core stays in place - does not bulk up or separate from the backing

Hope this helps

Try the new Incontrol BeDry. The elite hold enough for me all night but they make a “night” version also.
I’ve used betterdry and like these better. Guarantee they hold just as much or more.
Watch for sales

I have tried Mega Max, They don't work for me I have no butt and cannot get a good seal around so they leak even when dry. They are also way out of my budget range as are the Incontrol line.

I can go back to my trusty Abena L4 with the Abena Let max boosters for only $2.81 per brief. I am only spending $2.16 per brief now with the anatomic boosters that I am using.

As I am 24/7 and living on social security there is not much room in my budget to spend $3.00 per brief. I could get stuff for the day and then stuff for the night but I ran into an issue when I tried that with the Better dry days because they look the same and I packed my hospital bag with them once. Thank Heavens I was not there long and had boosters with me.

Incontrol BEdry elite are 2.05 each if you buy a case.
The regular BEdry may work as well for less $$

Did you ever try a re-useable cloth diapers with plastic pants. Initial cost is higher, but overall much cheaper. Only drawback is washing them. Mine have lasted over 7 years
.

@artiejr

I deal with bowel incontinence so not much of an option for me.

Did highly look into Cloth diapers as my mom is a master seamstress so she could make them for me and we have a lot of fabric stores here that sell cloth diaper material.

I’ve posted on here before. I’m a numerous nightly wetter and the only reliable method that has worked better than any disposable combination is thick pin on diapers with good fitting but comfortable plastic pants.

Presently, I don't have bowel issues, just bladder problems. Bedwetting my whole life, for the most part. I am now 72.

@artiejr

Interesting idea! I have both fecal and urinary incontinence. So far I've only used Depends - that's what they used at the hospital/rehab place. I don't need them all the time, but they are sweaty and uncomfortable.

It has been a battle of a week. Luckily I have my laundry in my apartment. I used Gary wear active brief covers and was leaking enough to leak out. That always sucks. I think it is a few things, One is sitting down a lot. Two, because my bowels are not working right I have been peeing a lot more. Three, I think my oldest pair of Gary wear active briefs has met the end of its life. The elastic around the legs is looser than it should be. I did just wash them so maybe they are fixed now but I don't trust them at night right now.

I did look into different products for a few reasons. The biggest is that regular BetterDry is still out of stock. Also, I want to find something better for this summer. I need to be able to get out and do things. If that means changing more often than so be it.

@ThatFLGuy I am using several levels of Seni diapers; buying by the cases, it works out to $1 - $1.6 each. Definitely a good price compared to BetterDry and Abena.

I have to wear day and night these days. Currently using the Super, Super Plus, and thir highest level. Forgot the name. Anyhoo. It sucks but, less than not wearing, as many of us know firsthand.
