Having read this all I can say is there HAS to be a better way!! I can see security and all of that but why do TSA methods have to be so damned invasive and humiliating!!! But with all that's going on in the world today I guess we can expect nothing better than third world standards. It's absolutely ridiculous that nobody is able to come up with a better way to ensure security and safety when flying.

TSA employees and apparently their Amsterdam equivalent are not allowed to do any profiling or make any decisions. In Israel, for example, they are trained to “profile” the traveler and decide what level of physical or verbal examination is appropriate. I probably wouldn’t have been subjected to the humiliation of having to undress had I been “profiled”.
