Had such an awesome time on my trip to Central Fl that I am looking to do another trip MLK Day weekend to somewhere for outdoors fun. As a reminder (go check Kayaking or Mt. Biking, Let's have some fun in December post) I had a long weekend and went to FL for some mt biking and kayaking. It was amazing.
Now looking to repeat, but maybe different location for MLK Day Weekend. Looking for suggestions and possible meet up opportunities. Looking at as far west as New Orleans, North as Nashville or Mt. Mitchell NC, and as far south as Everglades.
So any ideas on fun activities to do in that area bounded by the above mentioned geographic boundaries? Pretty much all of AL, GA, FL, costal MS, LA, Western TN and Western/south NC/SC.
Any mt bikers, kayakers (non white water), hikers or outdoor enthusiasts have ideas for these areas or want to meet up?
