Leg Bag Failure

I’m using a Rusch 1,000ml leg bag. I like the size of the bag, my issue:
After emptying the bag a time or two, the bag collapses upon itself forming a vacuum. This prevents the urine from flowing into the bag creating backup that fairly quickly causes the CC adhesive to fail causing accidents. I’m currently using a large syringe to inject air into the bag through the drain valve to prevent this issue. This is a pain and messy..
Does anyone have recommendations on a bag that does have gave these problem?
I’d like to stick with a 1000ml bag.
Thanks!

Doesn't make sense. A vacuum would draw fluid into the bag. I wonder if the bag ends up folded up on itself, limiting flow in. If you are in a standing position, does urine properly drain down into the bag?

I have a leg bag for night use and have never had a failure. I use a 1000 ml reusable Urocare latex leg bag (https://www.urocare.com/EN/Products/UrocareLtxLgBgsEN.php )The manufacturer states this type of bag can last up to 1 year with daily cleaning.I hold the bag firm with a reusable stretch cotton leg bag holder from Urocare.

During the day I use the Conveen 250 mls Active bag
( https://products.coloplast.us/coloplast/continence-care/conveen/conveen-active-leg-bag/) that fits neatly into my deepened trouser or shorts pockets. I've never had a flow issue with either.

@Mwm1020 Have you discussed this with the support people at your supplier? Mine were very helpful with the issues I had, and had heard of most problems.
