Is this site mainly for men?

Hi I am new here, seems like it is mostly men on this site. I’ve always thought incontinence was more of a female issue. It’s OK either way just curious if there’s any other women here dealing with the same issues I am. Looking forward to hopefully getting to know some of you.

I agree this site is gender neutral.

If you have an incontinence issue you have found the right forum.

Hello and Welcome,

Incontinence affects men and women. Posters here (men and women) offer their stories, successes and/or trials. I believe that you'll find EVERYONE HELPFUL AND SUPPORTIVE.

Again, welcome.

Thanks everyone. Once I took a better look I realized that. It just seems like it first I saw a lot of posts that seem to only be man.

This site is for all. Don't be afraid to a ask any questions. You'll probably get multiple answer. Welcome.

Just depends on the topic. I don’t tend to respond to topics related to prostates since I didn’t come with one. Everyone is great here!

Welcome to you SuzieB. I too am a female who suffers from extreme urge incontinence. I know what a daily struggle it is. I'm 60 years old and have recently been diagnosed with Neurogenic bladder. I have suffered for many, many years with urinary incontinence. Feel free to ask me any questions that maybe I could be of assistance with. Of course nothing can take the place of a professional examination but I can tell you what works for me on a daily basis. I pretty much am a "home-body" now that I'm retired so for the most part I don't go out in public very often. I spent well over 30 years wanting to be home so I am quite content with it. My incontinence seems to have escalated over the last few years; especially since having COVID-19. But according to the good folks on this forum and my research, this is not uncommon Again, welcome to you and I believe you will find the forum a good place with alot of really great, compassionate, helpful people.

@SuzieB Unfortubately it is mostly men here - about 95% male, but the women who are here are amazing ;) You’ll get to know us. The reason there are more men here is because they get prostate cancer and need help with the ensuing incontinence.

I agree with Snow, predominantly men here. But all are welcome as the issues discussed here affect male as well as female.

Welcome.
