Hi there, I'm an American living in Ireland and I saw on the HSE websites that it's possible to receive incontinence aids through HSE but I'll have to be assessed by a healthcare professional. Does anyone know what options for incontinence aids are available through the HSE? specifically (plastic backed)nappies, booster pads, and external catheters
thanks in advance for any help

Hello I get them every 2 months trough medical card on hse they provide the ID slip incontinence pads or nappies their cloth backed.
You need to see a public health nurse who will get you to do bladder chart and assessment.
Once she has a letter from gp she will arrange for you to receive incontinence wear every 2 months usually 4 nappies or shaped pads.
Message me more for details.
