Im tired of post-prostatectomy incontinence

8 months post op and have gone from adult diapers and large pads to a thin pad one a day..hang in there.

Ok, for some good news I am 4.5 months post radical prostatectomy and Sunday I hiked 12.5 miles total r/t up the smoky mountains and back. Took me 2.25 hours longer than last year but I made it. 8 hours of hiking, stopping, bitching. I never leaked all the way up, but when i sat down at the top the pressure caused leakage and I leaked all the way down. Very full pad at the bottom. But i did it

After 6 months of "wet hell" my AUS was activated yesterday.
Im back to being "normal" well 99% anyway.
Hoorah !

It was done at Sloan by Dr Sundau, surgery was no biggie, overnight in the hospital, two weeks of light duty and
four more before he activated it.
NO significant discomfort. Look at the video I posted the link to a month ago

WOW!! I just watched the video in post #9 above and it is VERY informative for anyone with urinary incontinence, in my opinion an absolute must watch. Thanks for posting that larryw61.

Pretty neat device you should see the surgery video for what they do to fix ED. Looks painful but it’s a cool video.
