Helping a friend

So my friend had a stroke several months back leaving her to be in diapers. She was telling me today her shipment didn’t come in on Friday and she only has 2 left. After her aide comes tomorrow morning to change her she will have none. She’s out of chux too. I know what it’s like to be on your last and not know what you are going to do. I put 2 bags of my emergency stock of diapers and 3 bags of chux in some trash bags and reached out to a friend who is going to take them over to her. The diapers will probably be too big as I’m bigger than she is but it will get her through til Monday. This friend and I sometimes have a rocky relationship but I can’t bare to see anyone suffer. Even if we fight.

You are a true friend.
This is why we have this forum, because a friend is a friend but there's no friend like friend who knows you are incontinent and how helpless and alone thst feels and does the right thing.
Well done EJ!

Good man she'll appreciate them alot and if you ever needed supplies or help with anything I'm sure she'll help you.

I’ve always taught & been taught, it’s quite easy to help out a friend in need, it takes a much BIGGER person to help out someone in need they don’t know, even bigger if they know them and might not particularly care for said person!
Thanks for sharing EJ, after today you might need the next size up!

Good for you EJ!!!! That is being a good true friend through thick and thin!!! That was very generous of you and I'm sure your friend will be most appreciative!
Well you know, the kindness you showed your friend really embodies the spirit and true meaning of this forum!! You are definitely a great member!!!

Good job. That's the way to do it. It's nice when we can help out. Maybe she can repay you. Diapers can be expensive.
