It was many of moons ago in the 90's and I was part of the news letter. Before the forum. I used a different account that I still own but never check. So I just decided to start fresh. NAFC has been around for a long time and helped me to learn a lot 30 years ago or so. I just looking for a good place for a fellow incontinent person to hang out. I hope besides getting something out of this group for myself I can give a lot to many of newbies just starting out. I have interstitial cystitis pretty severe and incontinence from it as well as nerve dis order with some retention. My bladder though I can not hold it does not empty all the way I cant hold it very well either. I am 48 I have been dealing with my bladder like this since middle school.
But I do also have nerve issues and have developing gastroparesis really bad. Now I am having bouts of fecal incontinence for the last 6 years or so. I do not wish that on anyone.
Maybe I can give a few tips and tricks out in the future. I have really good containment system now I have been sleeping on. It uses a silicone type catheter and hooks up to a suction pump. The UR24 if anyone is interested in checking it out or has questions and I can help I would be happy to do so.
